Poly Protective Coatings was formed by Rob Gordon in 1982 initially to spray polyurethane elastomeric coatings for the Bowen Basin coal mines. Since then the company has grown in size to over 20 staff and increased their range of products and services to include Alumina Ceramics, Engineering Plastics, Epoxy Grouts, Cast Polyurethane Elastomers and Polyethylene Pipe Welding and Installation and special projects.
To accommodate the growth of the company, their office and workshop located at 185-187 Boundary Road, Paget, Mackay has doubled in size since it was built in 1992. The compnay's success has been built on a reputation for providing quality work on time and at very competitive rates. Poly Protective Coatings continue to service some of Queensland’s largest industrial site operations.

Tony has 25 years’ experience in mining and heaving industry, Tony’s experience lies in Mechanical construction, fixed and mobile plant Maintenance and operations, as a tradesman, and from 1997 in leader ship and workplace training roles in fixed and mobile plant, through to management in processing operations, training, commissioning, project management, business development, and business management.

Brendan has 35 years’ experience in the industry servicing mining and construction, supervision and management, and essentially a pioneer in the implementation of wear resistant products to the materials handling and processing industries, Brendan has fulfilled many roles over the years including large and small scale construction projects, to operations support and company management

Scheduling and Shutdown Manager
Sandra has 15 years’ experience in the mining and heavy industry environment servicing materials handling and processing facilities all over the country with quality wear resistant products, skilled labour and protective coatings, Sandra has a sound knowledge of industry requirements, estimating and scheduling, and stays up to date with modern cost effective solutions to industry.
